1.1. Training Objectives

1.1.1. General Objective

The E-Commerce program aims to educate and train learners to possess professional ethics, social responsibility, and specialized competencies in e-commerce to meet the needs of society.

1.1.2. Specific Objectives

Graduates will have knowledge, skills, autonomy, and responsibility as follows:

- Knowledge The program provides students with both fundamental and advanced knowledge in e-commerce, such as online business organization, electronic payment, information security, e-marketing, and e-commerce operations management.

- Skills Learners will be equipped with essential skills in online business, e-commerce management, and soft skills such as communication, teamwork, critical thinking, analysis, and synthesis. They will also be trained to achieve English proficiency equivalent to B1 according to the European framework, enabling them to apply language skills in professional practice and scientific research in e-commerce.

- Autonomy and Responsibility Graduates are expected to comply with legal regulations, respect professional and social ethics, maintain honesty, and take responsibility for their work. They should demonstrate industrial discipline, be able to work independently or in teams, continuously improve their expertise to adapt to the working environment, and have motivation and ambition for success in the field of e-commerce.

The demand for human resources in e-commerce is forecasted to be very high in the future. With knowledge and strengths in business strategy, technology, IT, and foreign languages, graduates can easily find employment in domestic and international companies and corporations. Possible positions include:

-  Specialist at enterprises operating in the field of e-commerce.

-  Specialist or consultant at technology companies providing IT solutions for e-commerce.

- Specialist at government agencies involved in policy-making and management of e-commerce.

-  Entrepreneur in the e-commerce sector.

-  Researcher or lecturer in e-commerce at universities and colleges.

1.4. Further Study Opportunities

Graduates may pursue postgraduate programs (Master’s, Doctorate) in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or Economic Management. They may also transfer to other programs in economics, management, and business.
